Kyrgyz State Medical Academy
Kyrgyz State Medical Academy is located in the capital city of Kyrgyzstan i.e. Bishklek. The university was founded in year 1939 and the city was previously known by the name of Frunze. When the university started operation, it had a mere number of 200 students and was given assistance by First Moscow State Medical University and provided teaching staff, medical books & medical guidelines to help it in being established.
Currently approx. 12,000 students are studying in Kyrgyz State Medical Academy out of which approx. 1,800 students are from foreign countries with majority of them being from India & other Asian countries. The medium of instruction in university is English & Russian.
The university is equipped with most modern equipments like diagnostics, thermo vision, endoscopy, angiography, hyperbaric oxygenation, de-toxication, laser therapy, etc. to help provide the best exposure to students.
Teaching at the Kyrgyz State Medical Academy is carried out by 600 highly qualified faculty members among which there are several academicians of Kyrgyz Republic & members of NAS Kyrgyzstan and also candidates of science with Ph.D. degrees. The universitiy has the following faculties :

Kyrgyz State Medical Academy has scollaborations with various countries and their university which is highly beneficial for students who get MBBS admission in Bishkek. Those countries include Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Turkey, South Kore, Switzerland, etc.
